1947 Gibson LG-2

1947 Gibson LG-2 in excellent condition. A great example of a post-war era Gibson flat top. Spruce top with mahogany back and sides. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, dot inlay, single ply binding, and modern Gibson logo.  Retains the 1 ¾” nut width which ends right around this time. Great Gibson acoustic that has opened up and gives a well rounded tone. Has neatly repaired crack in the lower bout. Excellent playability and feel, action is set perfect due to a professional neck reset done prior to TR Crandall. Bridge has been replaced with a repro that looks and plays the part. Guitar holds in tune well with original wartime strip tuners with one replaced button. Beautiful checking spread evenly on the finish as seen in photos, with just minimal wear.  Comes with a hard shell case.
