1948 Epiphone Zephyr De Luxe Regent in excellent condition. This guitar was built in New York City. It is constructed of a laminate maple top, back and sides. It has a three piece maple neck. The pickups are precursors to the New York "Tone Spectrum" pickups. This is the first year of this version, Regent meaning cutaway. This guitar has a rosewood fingerboard with cloud inlays. This is a rare first year example with the cloud inlays instead of the later block inlays. The neck depth measures 0.96" at the first fret, 1.11" at the tenth fret, and has a nut width of 1 11/16". This guitar weighs 7.40 lbs and comes with a hardshell case.
