1949 Gibson J-45 in good condition.  We are delighted to have this special J-45 back in the shop.  This guitar is the only J-45 we have ever seen with a walnut back, mahogany sides and spruce top.  The top is triple bound and the peg-head is tapered.  The factory order number is 2902.  Action is perfect having been set-up in our in house shop.  There are two repaired back cracks and four repaired side cracks. Cracks are all structurally solid repairs however cosmetically not the cleanest workmanship. The bridge has been re-glued and a new saddle and replacement nut have been made.  The original tuners have been rebuttoned.  Otherwise the guitar is all original. The sound is exactly what you want in a late 40s Jumbo, big thick lows and mids with volume to spare.  The walnut back and straight bridge give it an interesting and unique sound. Includes original hard case.
