1952 Strad-O-Lin 1500 Two Point Mandolin
1952 Strad-O-Lin No.1500 two point mandolin in very good condition. This Venetian style mandolin is all original aside from having replaced tuner ferrules. The tuners work well but are on the tighter side. This Strad-O-Lin was constructed with a spruce top, maple back and sides, a maple neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, and a Brazilian rosewood bridge. The neck measures 1 3/16” at the nut, has a depth of 0.93” at the first fret, and a depth of 1.20” at the seventh fret. The mandolin has a 13.75“ scale and weighs 1.75 lbs. A lively sounding mandolin with a great look featuring carved f holes and both a celluloid tortoiseshell pickguard and bridge cover. Comes with the original hardshell case
