1956 Gibson J-185 in excellent condition with a minimal amount of wear throughout the instrument. A truly exceptional sounding jumbo with a very clear, balanced and dynamic projection with a bass that is full and true. This guitar is in all original condition with the only exceptions being a replacement rosewood bridge, and a professional neck reset. This guitar was constructed with a spruce top, maple back, sides and neck, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and bridge. This guitar has a scale length of 24 3/4", fingerboard width at the nut of 1 11/16", thickness at the first fret of .92", thickness at the tenth fret of .99", and weighs 4.12 lbs exactly. This guitar comes with a modern Gibson molded hardshell case.
