1956 Gibson Les Paul Standard in near mint condition. This may be the cleanest mid-50's Les Paul on the planet and it sounds as unbelievable as it looks. All original with only the slightest bit of checking, absolutely no wear anywhere. Mahogany body with maple cap, mahogany neck, and a bound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. Electronics are completely untouched, the original P-90s read 7.77k on the bridge pickup and 7.89k on the neck pickup. The neck is 1.72" wide at the nut, profile is 0.93" at the 1st fret, 1.00" at the 12th fret. All of the original hang tags, paperwork, and case candy that this guitar left the factory with in 1956 is neatly packed away in the original Lifton Case.
