1959 Gibson Century 10 in excellent condition. This lap steel features a solid mahogany body and neck with a black finish. Introduced in 1948, the Century 10 features a distinctive Art Deco-inspired body design and an acrylic fingerboard with position markers. The guitar has a 22 1/2" scale length and a 3" nut width. Electronics consist of a single-coil pickup with volume and tone controls. Hardware includes a metal bridge with a top-loading string arrangement. Gibson's shipping records indicate that approximately 90 Century 10 instruments were produced, making it one of the company's rarer postwar lap steel models. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Comes with original hardshell case.
