1966 Hagstrom H-8 8 String Bass
1966 Hagstrom H-8 8 String Bass in excellent condition. This Hagstrom is all original aside from having had an extra strap button added to the back of the upper horn. This H-8 was constructed with a birch body and a birch neck with a rosewood fingerboard. The neck measures 1 5/8" at the nut and has a depth of 0.80” at the first fret and 0.81” at the 12th fret. The bass has a 30 5/8” scale and weighs 8.5 lbs. The Hagstrom 8 string bass was famously used by both Jimi Hendrix and Noel Redding. An extremely cool instrument with a unique, inspiring sound that is truly fun to play. Comes with a Fender hardshell flight case.
