1987 Martin D-16M
1987 Martin D-16M in excellent condition. This Martin is all original and has no history of repairs aside from the bridge having been reglued. This D-16M was constructed with a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and a rosewood bridge. The neck measures 1 11/16" at the nut, has a depth of 0.85” at the first fret, and has a depth of 0.90” at the tenth fret. The guitar has a 25.4” and weighs 4.00 lbs. This is one of the most underrated Martin models, with specs similar to a 1940’s D-18, and features a real lacquer finish, dovetail neck joint, and forward shifted scalloped X bracing. This D-16M has a big, lively, wide open sound with exceptional sustain. Comes with the original hard case.
