2024 Gilchrist Model 5 Mandola
2024 Gilchrist Model 5 Mandola in excellent condition. This Gilchrist is all original with no history of repairs. This X braced Model 5 was constructed with an Engelmann spruce top, red maple back and sides, and a red maple neck with an ebony fingerboard and abalone dot inlays. The mandola features a gorgeous dark cremona sunburst finish, striking flame maple, and a wonderful abalone flowerpot inlay on the headstock. The neck has a width of 1 1/4” at the nut, a depth of 0.95” at the first fret, and a depth of 1.08” at the ninth fret. This Model 5 has a 17 1/2” scale and weighs 3.02 lbs. Comes with a white Calton hardshell case.
