C. 1959 ES-330 Conversion
This circa 1959 Gibson ES-330T was converted from a single pickup guitar to a double pickup guitar, essentially becoming an ES-330TD. There is a nicely done wooden patch in the center of the guitar where the original pickup was once housed. The neck has been reshaped to a comfortable "U" shape, the guitar has been refretted, the tuners are replacement Grovers, the side dots have been replaced, and the guitar has been refinished in a matte black finish. The pickups are Seymour Duncan antiquity P-90's. The neck measures 1 5/8" at the nut, has a depth of 0.83 at the first fret, and a depth of 0.93 at the twelfth fret. The guitar has a 24 3/4" scale and weighs 5.91 lbs. Despite the great number of modifications the guitar has a cool look, plays well, and sounds great. Comes with a non-original hardshell case.
