1958 Gibson Les Paul Jr. Left-Handed
1958 Gibson Les Paul Junior left-handed in sunburst finish in excellent condition. It is hard to understate how impossibly rare this guitar is, with a scarce few left-handed examples ever having seen the light of day. It is all original except for a replaced jackplate and replaced tuner buttons. There is honest playwear consistent with age, some nice finish checking throughout, and a handful or scratches mostly to the back of the guitar. It has a mahogany body and neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, single P-90 pickup, and a wrap-around tailpiece. The neck measures 1 11/16” at the nut and has a depth of 0.93” at the first fret and 1.01” at the 12th fret. The guitar has a 24 ¾” scale and weighs 7.72 lbs. A historically significant true rarity that would make a great centerpiece for any left handed vintage guitar player’s collection. It is also an exceptional playing guitar with a comfortable deep carve neck and phenomenal sounding P-90. It comes with a hardshell case.
