

1940s Kiesel Lap Steel
1940s Kiesel lap steel guitar in excellent condition. Kiesel was the predecessor to Carvin and manufactured steel guitars, pickups and amps from 1946-1949. In 1949 the name was changed to Carvin. This early lap steel is made from brown bakelite with a wood insert down the back. 22.5" scale length. The pickup is the legendary AP-6 which was used for decades. An excellent sounding lap steel with a cool art deco look. Comes with the original hardshell case.
